- Recco & Oneskee
Oneskee All in One Ski Suits now proudly feature the world renowned RECCO Avalanche Rescue System
What is RECCO?
RECCO avalanche rescue technology provides added protection for skiers and snowboarders in the event of an avalanche accident. Engineered into the lining of the Oneskee MKIII, RECCO reflectors are lightweight, durable and make you searchable to professional rescuers.
Utilised by over 700 search and rescue organisations worldwide, RECCO assists in the efficient location of avalanche victims. Introduced in 1983, the system is in use by an extensive network of ski resorts, helicopter skiing operations, parks, and search-and-rescue organisations in Europe, Japan, North and South America.
RECCO reflectors are situated into the hood and calf linings. Weighing in at less than 4 grams they are virtually undetectable when you are wearing a Oneskee All in One Ski Suit.
RECCO reflectors are permanently attached, meaning they can't be left in the car, stashed mistakenly in the lodge, or forgotten at home. They are a non-powered device which means that they will never lose signal strength and don’t require batteries to function. They are maintenance free and have a virtually unlimited lifespan.
For your safety
RECCO reflectors do not prevent avalanches nor do they guarantee location or survival in the event of a burial; however, they do assist organised rescue teams in pinpointing a location of somebody trapped under the snow.
Avalanches pose a very real threat so staying safe on and off piste should always be your priority. RECCO offers peace of mind that you will always be detectable in the event of a disaster - allowing you to make the most your time on the slopes.
